The ideal candidate:
- is advanced in Javascript(ES2015+)
- is advanced in Typescript
- has 3 years or more of relevant work experience (if less, prove you're a pro)
Backend:
- is able to setup a project with some guidance
- is advanced in NodeJS
- is able to develop fully REST compliant APIs
- is experienced with Express (or any equivalents) and NestJS
- is advanced in SQL and NoSQL databases
- is advanced with popular ORMs
- has experience with testing (unit, integration E2E) and testing frameworks
- writes high-quality, maintainable, extendable code
- is experienced with Docker (and possibly Kubernetes)
- understands project lifecycle from kickoff to maintenance
Frontend:
- is pro in React or Vue
- is pro in CSS and HTML
- is able to make reusable components
- is pro with state management libraries
- knows responsive web design
- is able to implement flashy animations
And it’s an advantage if they also:
- have solid computer science knowledge
- are aware of resource management
- are experienced with cloud (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud)
- are familiar with GraphQL
- are familiar with Python, GO, Rust, C, C++ or any other language
- have experience with React Native or native mobile development
- have a degree in Computer Science
- have broad experience with development in general
- have an eye for design
