The ideal candidate:
- is pro in Javascript(ES2015+)
- is pro in Typescript
- has a couple of years of relevant work experience with React native
- is a pro in React and React Native
- is experienced with Android Studio and XCode
- is experienced with distribution to Google Play Store and App Store
- is a pro in CSS (especially flexbox) and HTML
- can make reusable components
- is a pro with state management libraries
- can implement flashy animations (with Reanimated)
- is up-to-date with current mobile trends
- is up-to-date with the React Native ecosystem
- has experience with testing frameworks (react-native-testing-library, Jest)
And it's an advantage if they also:
- know the inner workings of React Native
- have native development experience with (Java/Kotlin, Objective C/Swift)
- have experience with native extensions with C++
- are familiar with GraphQL
- are familiar with Python, GO, Rust, C, C++, or any other language
- have experience with NodeJS and backend development
- have a degree in Computer Science
- have broad experience with development in general
- have an eye for design
