Hi! I’m Dániel. I got into tech when I was a kid and always knew it would be the career path I followed. I studied Computer Science Engineering at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics and graduated in 2017. I then applied for an internship at Ericsson Hungary and stayed there as a software developer for five years. During these years, I mainly worked with Java but had the opportunity to work with and experience life as an automation tester. I joined Scriptide in April 2021, working as a Javascript developer both on the front and back ends.
Technical interests / focus:
When it comes to technical interests, I’m basically up for anything. Many fields in the IT world hold different challenges, and I’m happy to sink my teeth into any of them. I wouldn't say I have a specific interest since I always focus on the current technology I need to use and try to gain deeper knowledge from it. I’m a firm believer that you can learn something from every task. However, my current focus is on Typescript, which I find extremely useful as a former Java programmer :)
Hobbies / free time activities:
In my free time, I like to get physical. As much as I love sitting at my desk, I was made to move. I enjoy all kinds of sports, going to the gym, and cycling, and I’ve recently started running. If the weather’s nice, I also like to slow things down by taking long walks or hikes. If it’s raining, cold, or otherwise an indoor kind of day, I love playing board games, and I'll gladly try out any new cookie recipes.
Why do you like working at Scriptide:
Because the people are great and friendly, the atmosphere is excellent. I’ve already learned a lot here, and I love overcoming challenges and learning from the projects we work on.
